Want to get more involved with local climate action? Join our monthly meetings the last week of the month. At each meeting, we will bring in organizations that are tackling different aspects of the climate crisis, and help to highlight the work that is needed to advance climate action in the Lowcountry. We hope you'll join us and share your perspective.

May 29th, 6PM - The Lowcountry Action Committee will be joining CCC to discuss the role of Black people in the climate justice movement and the importance of Black people leading the charge. We will be taking action on the controversial Baker Hospital site as well as the County Climate Action Plan.
June 27th, 6PM - This meeting will discuss the role of sustainable food systems in the fight for climate justice and resiliency. We will be inviting local farmers and local food system experts to discuss how they're tackling a changing climate while maintaining the health of their land.
July 31st, 6PM - Join CCC and the Coastal Conservation League in taking action against the proposed expansion of the I-526 connector which could fill in over 38 acres of wetlands and cost taxpayers $2.8 billion.
